This September I participated in a 10 day program at Arthouse Jersey on the island of Jersey. Guided by Sue Hill, the Associate Director of Wildworks, I spent 10 days in the Greve de Lecq Barracks with 10 other artists, working and living together in a very intensive, but at the same time utterly peaceful program.

To describe what we did there I could say that we went on loads of walks exploring the landscape, created installations, performances, sculptures and sounds, did a lot of exercises as a team and enjoyed incredible food prepared by our chef on site(!!!).

I think what sums up the experience better is the sheer sense of community, experimentation and total safety I felt working there among a fantastic group of artists in one of the most pretty places I’ve been in a while.
